Mono no Nedan Privacy Policy

Foshan Gaoming Huiyang Network Technology Studio (the "Operator") sets out this Privacy Policy for the handling of user information in the iOS app "Mono no Nedan" (the "App").

Article 1. Scope

This Policy applies to user information handled by the Operator in connection with use of the App.

Article 2. App Overview

The App lets users record information about items they own, including names, categories, tags, prices, purchase dates, usage status, and related information, and display or manage daily cost and other related information.

The App offers in-app purchases through auto-renewable subscriptions for some features. Payment processing is handled by Apple Inc.; the Operator does not obtain users' credit card numbers or other payment information.

The App does not currently provide advertising, behavioral targeting, or cross-app tracking.

Article 3. Information Handled

  1. Information entered or saved by users: item names, categories, tags, purchase prices, purchase dates, expected years of use, memos, sale prices, sale dates, status, display settings, and other information voluntarily entered or saved by users.
  2. Images and photos: photos, images, and related information voluntarily selected or captured and registered in the App by users.
  3. Information necessary for iCloud synchronization: if a user uses iCloud, data stored in the App may be synchronized to the user's iCloud area through CloudKit and other Apple services.
  4. Authentication-related information: the App may use Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode authentication. The Operator does not obtain, store, or manage facial information, fingerprint information, or other biometric authentication data itself. The Operator only handles result information necessary for App lock control, such as whether authentication succeeded on the device.
  5. Inquiry information: name, email address, inquiry details, and other information sent when a user contacts the Operator.

Article 4. Acquisition Method

The Operator obtains or handles information by lawful and fair means through user input, saving, editing, deletion, photo selection, camera use, iCloud sync settings, inquiry submission, and similar actions.

Article 5. Purposes of Use

  1. To provide, maintain, and operate the App
  2. To implement daily cost calculation, list display, dashboard display, chart display, comparison phrases, and other App features
  3. To save and reflect item information, categories, tags, display settings, and lock settings
  4. To provide data synchronization and backup using iCloud
  5. To respond to user inquiries
  6. To address defects, improve quality, and improve future features
  7. To comply with laws or requests from administrative authorities and similar bodies

Article 6. External Transmission and External Services

  1. The App does not use a mechanism that centrally sends user data to the Operator's own server for management.
  2. The App may use Apple-provided services and features including the App Store, iCloud / CloudKit, and device authentication functions such as Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode.
  3. The App does not currently include third-party advertising services, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or similar external services.
  4. If such services are added in the future, the Operator will revise this Policy and notify users as necessary in accordance with laws and Apple's rules.

Article 7. Third-Party Disclosure

The Operator does not provide personal information to third parties without prior user consent except in the following cases:

  1. Where required by law
  2. Where necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and obtaining consent is difficult
  3. Where especially necessary for public health or sound child development and obtaining consent is difficult
  4. Where cooperation with national or local public authorities is necessary and obtaining consent may interfere with that work
  5. Where information is processed on Apple services to the extent necessary to provide the App

Article 8. Security

The Operator takes reasonable and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, damage, and other security issues involving handled information.

Article 9. Retention and Deletion

  1. Data saved in the App is generally stored on the user's device and in the user's own iCloud area.
  2. Users can change or delete saved data within the App's features.
  3. Even if the App is deleted from a device, data in iCloud may be retained or deleted according to Apple's specifications or the user's own iCloud settings.
  4. Inquiry information is retained for the period necessary to respond and for legally required periods, then deleted appropriately.

Article 10. Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion

If a user requests disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or similar action for personal information held by the Operator and subject to such requests under law, the Operator will respond within a reasonable scope and in accordance with law. Article 11. Minors

Minors should use the App with the consent of a parent or other legal representative where necessary.

Article 12. Changes

The Operator may change this Policy as needed due to legal changes, App feature changes, or other necessities. Important changes will be announced in the App, on distribution pages, or by another method the Operator considers appropriate.
